Just as an example, phenylmagnesium bromide (PhMgBr) costs, for a 3.0 M solution: $39.40 for 50 mL; $48.50 for 100 mL; and $186.50 for 800 mL from the Aldrich catalog.  (Note that since you're paying for specialized packaging, it's not proportional to the amount of PhMgBr).
