How far did the poet try to see down the first road in the poem the road not taken?

oi studied it in 9th standard.. unforgettable poem :) as the poet wants to walk both the roads in the fork at once, but since it's impossible to do so, he has to choose one road. He stares down one road to see how far it goes and what lies ahead for him but his view was blocked by the undergrowth of the woods... hehe
