It is the very spirit of democracy as:-

(i) it reduces the possibility of conflict

(ii) it ensures political stability of the country

(iii) it leads to a legitimate form of government

Due to the above mentioned reasons it can be said that power sharing is the very spirit of democracy.

So, we agree this statement but to a particular extent and until it’s citizens are getting equal rights and are treated equally.
