How far do you think the effective leadership of all the rulers and other great loyal people would have proved fruitful in uprooting the british rule

Change can only come through the hands of dedicated people. If the leaders and other loyal people would have stayed dedicated to the interest of the entire community rather than just individual interest, then the British rule would have faced far more resistance than it did. The rulers in India looked out for their own interests when they formed coalitions with the British so as to have more power- a move that hampered national unity as a way of combating British rule.
