How far has India been able to prevent discrimination in society ?
Answers
It is in fact very challenging as most of Indians are very much caste oriented people. Let’s see how can we diminish these annoying barbarian system step by step
1. changing our mind set: People are so much interested to know your caste and community. No matter how well educated you are, when it comes in Caste, many people become too low level. So one has to change mind set in a way that it could help him treating others the same way he treat his own “group” of people.
2. Stop reservation based on “Caste”: We always yell at “reservation” of Dalits. Infact, the so-called modern people are not ready to accept these people in many ways. When it come in marriage, the high class/caste people always discriminate dalits and they never gonna marry them. So we really need to fight against “caste based discrimination” . So stopping reservation based on “caste” would be initiating these steps where people should treat every individual equally irrespective of your social status. The government has to make an effort to help/reservation for people who are financially backward for proper education. We all know about recent incident on “Tina Dabi” who got IAS first rank based on her Caste reservation, though she is financially sounds well than some of the good candidates who lost being ‘upper caste”
