"Ras Leela

The asymmetric vertical wall painting by Khsitindra Nath Majumdar is said to be one of the best depictions of the subject by the painter. The painting depicts a scene wherein Lord Krishna is shown dancing with Radha and eleven Gopikas. The rhythmic and poetic body gestures of Krishna and Radha along with their simplistic depictions conveys the idea of love and art very beautifully. The simplistic background emphasises the rawness of their emotions.

Arjuna Detaches From War

The line drawing by Sharda Chandra Ukil showcases the dilemma of Arjun when he sees the catastrophic outcomes of the Kurukshetra war. Lord Krishna is shown in his divine form with Arjun submitting himself at the former’s feet. This depiction indicates the surrender of Arjun to the Lord, who is the source of ultimate knowledge."
