how far is it correct to say that cricket is a batsman game? explain

Cricket was introduced in England. Gentleman was playing it .the rules of cricket was made in favor of batsman .so it is a gentleman's or batsman's game.

rules were made in the favour of batsman that were amature. moreover amatures (gentlemen) only did bating and the tough work i.e. balling was done by proffesional and both team captains were amatures only... (its the ans from 9th class ch history of cricket)..
