yes it is true that the resources Mark's rhe development of a nation or a particular region because we require resources for our daily activities in the form of fuel, food, clothes etc which we all derive from forest. The industries are mainly based on fossil fuels to run their machinery and other appliances. Metals are also one of those resources on which industries are based which we obtain from earth crust.

And the production in a country marks its development and self independence.
