Packletide tiger is a chapter in which two uppeer class ladies are jealous of each other , so one day mrs ppackletide had to shoot a tiger from an indian village she gave 1000 ruppees to each and every villagers

she had kept a goat in front of a tiger so it gets greedy , when she tries to shoot a tiger the bullet goes and hitss the the goat and tiger died due to heart attarck as it was to old . mr Mebbin was her paid companion so she black mailed her and stole her property
