Zimbabwe attained independence in 1980.since then the country has been ruled by ZANU-PF party. it's leader Robert Mugabe has been ruling the country since independence.elections have been held regularly and always won by ZANU-PF.president Mugabe uses unfair practices in elections.his government changes constitution several times for increasing the president's power this make less accountable to people .

opposition party is harassed and disrupted.public protests are declared illegal.television and radio controlled by government that give only ruling party version.government harassed those journalist who wrote against them.this show that there was no respect for citizen rights and can also be said undemocratic
