every election was won by the same party (PRi ) the opposition fid contest elections but never managed to win ...the (pri) used many dirty tricks to e in the elections...
*it forced people in govt offices to attend it's party meetings.
*it forced tchrs of govt schools to influence parents to vote for PRI
*media largely ignored work done by opposition party except to criticise them.
*it used a large sum of money for campaign for it's candidates...etc
no matter what the people did ...the PRI always won...the elections never gave a political alternative for people to choose from
