☀️ Answer : The distance travelled by vehicle is 83.3m

Given that : Initial velocity is 10m/s

                    Final velocity is 20m/s

                    Acceleration is 1.8m/s²

Need to find : Distance travelled

 ⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

❍ To calculate the distance we must know the third equation of motion ::

⍟ Third equation of motion : v² = u² + 2as

Where,

  • v denotes final velocity
  • u denotes initial velocity
  • a denotes acceleration
  • s denotes distance travelled

T H E R E F O R E,

  • ~By putting the values in third equation of motion we can find the distance travelled by vehicle.

↠ v² = u² + 2as

↠ 20² = 10² + [ 2 × 1.8 × s ]

↠ 400 = 100 + [ 3.6 × s ]

↠ 400 = 100 + [  3.6s ]

↠ 400 = 100 + 3.6s

↠ 3.6s = 400 - 100

↠ 3.6s = 300

↠ s = 300/3.6

↠ s = 83.3m

 ⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • Henceforth, the distance travelled by vehicle is 83.3m
