Answer:

Given, mass of the man, m=60kg

Kinetic energy of the man, E

k

=750J

If v is the velocity of the man, then

E

k

=

2

1

mv

2

or v=

m

2E

k

=

60

2×750

=5m/s

the man have to run at the rate of 5 metres per second

  • Mass = 60 kg
  • K.E = 750 J
  • v = ?

→ K.E = (1/2)mv²

⇒ 750 = (1/2) × 60 × v²

⇒ v² = 150/6

⇒ v = √25

v = 5 m/s

∴  The man should run with a velocity of 5m/s
