speed of light in vacuum=3 × 108 m/s

And, refractive index of glass plate=1.50

Refractive index of glass=Speed of light in air (or vacuum)/Speed of light in glass

So 1.50=3 × 108/Speed of light in glassSpeed of light in glass=3 × 108/1.50=2 × 108 m/s

Thus, the speed of light in glass is 2 × 108 m/s
