1. Unitary govt. is not as much democratic as union govt. because the decisions are only made at the central govt.
2. Powers remains in the hand of central govt. which makes all the decisions. while in Federal govt. most of the powers except powers of international importance are shared between local and province govt.
3. Unitary govt. have only one government but in federal govt. there are 2 or more levels of govt.
4. Federal govt. is the name of democracy, diversity, freedom of choice whereas Unitary govt. is the name of unity, identity and consistency.
