Federalism means two groups or govt. running the country by different ways.

India is a federal country run by union/central govt. and state govt.

In India the country's public transportation and public facilities are run by union govt.

while state happenings and differences like municipal corporations and electrical facilities and sanitation and drainage faculties are run and observed by state govt.
