How fertilization is done in vitro?

Unlike the simpler process of artificial insemination -- in which sperm is placed in the uterus and conception happens otherwise normally -- IVF involves combining eggs and sperm outside the body in a laboratory. Once an embryo or embryos form, they are then placed in the uterus. this is all about IVF

IVF ( in vitro fertilization).

There is a technique where babies are born even in some women oviducts are blocked.

As we know, Oviduct is the place where fertilization occurs.

These women are unable to bear babies because sperms can't reach the eggs for fertilization.

In Some men deffective sperm production and low sperm count is observed.

In such cases, doctors collect freshly released egg and sperm and keep them together for few hours for IVF.

In Case of fertilization occurs, The zygote is allowed to develop for about a week and then it is placed in the mother's uterus.

Complete development takes place in the uterus and the baby is born like any other baby.

Babies born through thus technique are called test tube babies.
