First u should find area of the given triangle by Herone 's formula.
you also know that area of a triangle =1\2 ×base ×height
now height = (2×area )\base
By this formula u can find height of triangle

If you have given given three sides and want to find the height of the triangle.
Let the three sides 3.5, 4 and 5 in Centimeter as shown in the figure.
ATQ.....
By Pythagoras Theorem.
(AC)^2 = (PC)^2 + (AP)^2
5^2 = 4^2 + (AP)^2
AP^2 = 25 - 16
AP^2 = 9
AP = 3cm
So, the height of triangle ABC = AP =3cm
