Answer:

Fire and Ice both here symbolise as emotions which are powerful enough to destroy the whole world. Here, 'Fire' symbolises greed, avarice, cruelty, lust, conflict, fury, etc., whereas 'Ice' represents intolerance, rigidity, hatred, insensitivity, coldness, indifference, etc.

The way they are interlinked are as follows:

  • Both of them represent emotions.
  • Both of them are powerful enough to destroy the whole world.
  • Both of them can be defeated by a single power i.e. power of love.

Answer:-

In Robert Frost's “Fire and Ice,” fire represents desire and ice hatred. “Fire and Ice” is predicting the end of the world; fire and ice being the two vices in which the speaker discusses could possibly lead to the end of our existence.

Fire symbolizes many things, including passion, desire, rebirth, resurrection, eternity, destruction, hope, hell and purification. These symbols have been used in literature, film and religious texts for millennia.

It is a symbol of rigidity, frigidity, the waters of the earth as opposed to the fresh and living WATER of the fountain of Paradise. It is coldness, absence of love, difficult and unexplored territory not conducive to human life and life in general. With winter, the season of death. In Dante, a deep part of Hell.

Hope this will help u
