Explanation:

In plants food is transported from leaves to the rest of the plant body with the help of vascular tissues phloem to be specific.

Phloem utilizes the energy found in the form of ATP in cells and create osmotic pressure and transport food from an area of high concentration  (leaves) to a an area of lower concentration (stem, roots etc).
