Momentum is a vector quantity because both magnitude as well as direction .according to second law of Newton momentum is the product of the mass and velocity .as we know that the velocity have a fixed direction and mass have magnitude.

at one places you have ttyped wrong force is not a vector quantity .it is a scalar quantity .reason simple that it have only mass not fixed direction.
