How force is doubled while keeping the area constant​

Answer:

For the same force ,if the area is doubled , pressure becomes half . Thus P(pressure) is inversely proportional to A(area) provided the force applied is constant. Thus if we double the area of contact while keeping the force constant, then according to the formula the pressure should be halved.
