France became constitutional monarchy because King Louise regulated rules only for their own benefits and he was under the influence of his queen and nobles. all the taxes were extracted by the third estate of the society. Due to worse crop production value of foods were increased. so the people of third estate became angry and they demanded for a Constitution. Because of their revolution France became a constitutional Monarchy.

France Revolution

During 1774 Louis XVI ,a king belonging from the bourbon family ascended the throne of France, at that time France was following monarchy. His rule drained financial resources of France, starvation was there in France, farmers won't get bread. Slowly the population of France was raising and all the citizens started a revolution which was later known as France revolution.

France became a constitutional monarchy

The draft of the constitution was completed by the national assembly during 1791. The main objective was to limit the powers of the monarch or the ruler, the powers instead of being in the hands of one person then it was divided to different institutions-the legislature, executive, and judiciary. This is how France became an constitutional monarchy.
