The French revolutions spread the idea of Nationalism in Europe by :-
- The idea of La patrie that is the father land and la citoyen that is the Citizen emphasize the notion of United community enjoying equal rights under the constitution.
- A new French flag that was a tricolour one was chosen to replace the former Royal one.
- The estates general was elected by the body of active citizens and renamed the national assembly.
- New hymes for composed, oaths were taken and martyrs commemorated all the name of the nation.

- Regional dialects word discouraged and French was made the common language of the nation.
The news of such events reached Europe and the students and other educated middle class in the Europe start setting up jacobin clubs which help the French army is move into Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and much of the Italy in 1790's.
