frequency is related to time period because any frequency needs a specific time or speed to travel a specific distance hence while calculating somethings ratio of frequency and te period is taken .

However, frequency is the number of cycles the vibration completes in one second.

Therefore the relation between, frequency(f) and the time period(T) would be:
