Throughout years, Gender norms have change wether it be good or bad. Norms have shaped how societies work and how cultures evolve. Even if there are many more things accepted in todays society compared to what is was accepted years ago, gender norms still play an important role in shaping the world. Most people think that equality is achieved and that gender norms don't need to be addressed anymore but the truth is that discriminatory norms are still existent and and have big impacts on people lives regarding personal relationship, family lives and work. This text will focus on how gender norms are treated in developed and developing countries and why this norms are still important in todays society.
