ANSWER :

Gladiolus flower spikes are harvested between 85 - 140 days  when basal floret is half  or fully open after planting. In cold storage these spikes can be stored by keeping in water for nine days.

The corms are dug out from the soil 6 to 8 weeks after harvesting the flower spikes.  For planting in the next season these corms are cleaned and dried under shade and are stored in the cold storage at 2°C.
