1. Govt. can see if labour laws are properly implemented or not.

2. Govt. can protect small producers by special schemes until they become strong enough to compete with bigger companies and MNCs.

3. Govt. can negotiate WTO for fairer rules.

4. Govt. can align with other developing countries with same interests to protest against the domination of developed nations on WTO.

5. If necessary govt. can put trade barriers on certain products or overall barriers.
