Following steps can be taken to create more employment :—

(i) Increase in irrigation facilities :- Without irrigation only a single crop is grown in most agricultural fields. It means less working opportunities, but if irrigation is provided two or three crops can be grown on the same field. So more people will be employed.

(ii) Improved Roads and Transportation :- If village roads are better built, good transportation facilities are provided then, surplus produce could be sold in city market.This would fetch more income.

(iii) Provide them easy loan :- If people are provided easy bank loans then they could start small business which will make them self dependent.

# The Government increases its spending and in turns increases the aggregate demand of the economics. Hence, the social output level rises and more employment opportunities are created.

# The central bank can lower interest rate. Lower interest rate discourages saving and - provides greater incentive for consumption and investment.

# The government can reduce the penalty of business failure such as shortening the time before failed businessmen are allowed to restart their business or reducing the difficulty in getting business loans. Such policies encourage more people to start their own companies.

# The government can provide subsidy for companies to expand its production in order to increase job opportunities. Also, the government can set up skill upgrading agencies to allow workers to have means to upgrade their skills and improve their productivity.
