How growing population can cause water scarcity explain?

Growing population has an impact on the water resources directly or indirectly. Large population would need more water which will pressurise the water resources . If the population will grow , then the industries will grow & industries need water or they will eventually contaminate the usable water resources . For electricity production hydroelectric power plants would use water to generate electricity. These are the few population related causes of water scarcity.

more population need more water if the population is high the demand is also high so population is directly proportionally on water
