The Growth of Nationalism was impacted by Indian literature also.
The British were trying to show that Indians were too inferior to the English culture and civilization.
1. Among other efforts ,an effort was made to represent the history of India in right perspective
2. It was attemptedTo make Indian realise the past glory of Indian culture and heritage
3. They wrote about the glorious culture, Indian phisophy, laws, etc
4. To make people proud of their history teh art , architecture, science, mathematics (Arybaht discovered zero) and other famous Indian crafts and glorious trade
5. The glorious history started declining because of the colonisation of India
6. At the time when The British showed Indians backward and incapable..the Indian nationists tried to instill a feeling of pride in India.
7. Such efforts had profound impact and Indians were ready to get out of colonial-miserable conditions by taking urge and new energy from the feeling of Pride in India.
