The widespread use of coal in homes and industries in 19th century England raised serious problems. It caused people difficult to breath, bad tempers, respiratory and other smoke related diseases. The smoke of chimneys make the clothes and houses of people very dirty.
An example include, many people in industrial cities like Leeds, Bradford and Manchester died due to this pollution. Owning to the above problems, the people in these cities complained about the black fog and the problems created by it.
Industrialization age of England faced the serious problems due to the extensive use of coals in homes as well as industry making them suffer health wise and environmental wise.
