But to get the commercial driver license, you need to fulfil the following criteria:

• 21 years age

• You need to submit your CDL application with requisite fees

• Provide ID and social security number

• Proof of state residency

• Complete medical examination report

• Vision test report

• Pass knowledge examination

• After passing the exam, you will get commercial learner’s permit and then you have to wait 14 days to take the part in CDL road skill exam

• Pass the road skill exam

• Pay necessary fees to get your license
