Large plasmids are specified by the presence of virulence.Agrobacteria copy a segment of the Ti plasmid and transfer it to the plant, where it subsequently intergretes into the plant genome, and expresses genes that result in the disease symptoms during the process of patogenesis.Tiplasmid has a tumor inducing gene which is removed hence the bacterium replicates and transfer its plasmid no harm is caused to the host plant.
