Society plays a little bit role in choosing the strand in Senior High School as you take advice from your parents, relatives, elders, seniors, some friends, etc., based on their experiences. It is very important to take advice and listen to people’s opinions before doing anything because it gives a kind of vision about the path. You will come to know about the pros and cons of each strand which is a very important or practical thing to know to be prepared mentally. But the final decision in choosing the strand should be yours because at last we will have to do that and our future is completely dependent on our decision. It is good to take advice but do what your mind practically thinks and your heart happily speaks. For the final decision, our interest in doing which strand matters, and what the expectations for future and goals should be in mind. Self-research is very important in each strand which includes people’s opinions, internet surfing, teachers' advice, etc. And take the final decision at the end by considering every point.
