The Green Revolution has resulted in short terms gains but it has become long term losses to farmers in some areas. The excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides made the crops to grow artificially. The natural taste of the crops spoiled due to the use of chemicals. The fertility of the land has spoiled by these chemicals. They increase the acidity of the land and made the land unfit for cultivation. The water in the ground is spoiled because of the use of these chemicals. The water reserves are also effected by Chemicals. So Government has to take right measures to grow the crops naturally without using chemicals.
