Humans have been disturbing the ecosystem of this earth for thousands of years. Human species is the most deadly species of this earth. It has harmed the ecosystem more than any other species of animals or plants.
When humans were forager and hunter gatherers, they colonized whole of this planet earth and wherever they went they destroyed the ecosystem of that place. They hunted animals at the rate much faster than nature could replace them. Mammals disappeared. As a result the whole food chain was disturbed.
When humans stopped hunting and foraging lifestyle and started agricultural lifestyle, they burned down forests for lands and domesticated a few animal species. And when industrialization and urbanization started, it also resulted in large scale deforestation.
