Land route in ancient India was a very important route for development of the country.Especially the silk route made India to get connected with Europe and other Asian countries.Through this route food,spices,ideas,goods,people,disease,etc..travelled around the world.Later when Columbus found USA it changed the world.It introduced the world to a new variety of foods and people.With the continuation of this trade with other countries by India brought in many exchanges which helped in the progress of the country.
