Our constitution of India had taken major steps in order to bring equality in India...Women in India are encouraged,to improve their living condition so that they can also become self dependent.On the other hand due to many crimes boys or gents were always blamed even when they were innocent so in this case also law have taken major steps to punish the real victim irrespective 
of caste or creed..

There can be no discrimination based on a citizen’s caste, sex, religious belief or place of birth etc. In matters relating to employment in government service the State can only lay down specific qualifications and requirements but these cannot be discriminatory in nature.
