I am writing my view towards this answer.
Linguistic policy adopted by India is not onpy proved to be favourable for federalism but also to ensure peace and stability in the country . Following are the points which justify this:-
1 Our linguistic policy does not favour any language whether It is in majority or minority, for example 40% of the Indian population speaks Hindi , yet it is not recognised as a national language.
2- India is a country with huge diversity with people speaking different type of languages and Fvouring any one language might arose conflict between several linguistic group.
3- candidates appearing for exam for Central can write in any language as they wish.
4- this all ensure that a stability and a piece of the country does not get hampered by the conflicts between several limguistic group.
Hope u get your answer and if any more explanation u want . Then message me .
