Panchayati Raj is the best example of decentralization of power.

(i) People can get their most of the problems solved at the local level.

(ii) People can think and plan for themselves.

iii)It enables the citizens of India to become a part of the political mainstream and have a say in government at the most basic level of administration.

1. It helps people to directly participate in decision making which inculcates the decision making.

2. People have a better knowledge  about the problems faced in thier localities.

3. They are aware about where to and how to spend the money and how to manage things more efficiently.
