How have curb 'urbanisation and industrialisation' led to a large scale deforestation?

Today people are dying from scorpions in Brazil. Deforestation is destroying the scorpions food sources so they are venturing out looking and they find humans.
More people are eating soybeans and meat,so Brazil is destroying their forests to grow protein. The problem is not cities,urbanization or industrialization it is TOOOO MANY MOUTHS TO FEED. The earth can not support the population future with healthy foods so the agricultural businesses are producing poor quality, dangerously new foods such as GMO and other poisonous foods such as glucose for our diets. Our stomachs can not digest these poisons and they are destroying our bodies bacteria. It’s a brave new world or as our business friends would say it is the new normal! Cities can work if properly located and planned!
