Nature is an important part of man's existence. In fact, man wouldn't exist without nature. Yet, nature also presents many challenges that need to be tackled. It is here that human beings have made efforts to conquer nature, reduce human suffering and make life more comfortable.
With advancement in technology and in depth research, especially in the field of medicine, human have been able to develop cures and vaccines for many diseases. Organ implants are also a part of these breakthroughs that have helped save lives.
Similarly, in order to fight global hunger, scientists have developed genetically modified crops, which are sturdy crops that give high yield. Here too, man has, through science, conquered nature and improved upon the original plant species, for the betterment of humans.
Yet another example is how humans have utilized technology to set up irrigation systems to help farmers. These systems greatly reduce the dependence on natural rainfall and hence help the agricultural industry sustain through periods of low rainfall.
