How have the shortcoming of Mendeleev,s periodic table been overcome in the modern periodic table?

Answer:

Mendeleev's periodic table was on the basis of atomic mass but the morden periodic table was based on atomic number and electronic confurigation .

There were many default in mendeleev's table like:

  • Position of hydrogen is not fixed.
  • atomic mass rule was not strictly followed. some element of heavier mass are placed before tge lighter one.
  • there was no space for isotopes.

Hence modern periodic table has no such mistakes and it overcome the mendeleev's periodic table.
