Answer:

The heart has its own electrical system that causes it to beat and pump blood. Because of this, the heart can continue to beat for a short time after brain death, or after being removed from the body. The heart will keep beating as long as it has oxygen.

Answer:

Heya!!!

Explanation:

The heart doesn't stop working even after it is separated from the body is because of the absence of cardiac arrest or Pallor Mortis which happens due to a lack of capillary circulation.

Clinical death is when the heart stops beating. Without the heart beating, blood cannot reach every part of the body, especially those organs, such as the skin, that are farther away from the heart.

The five types of Mortis are:

Rigor – stiffening of muscles

Livor – settling of blood

Algor – change in temperature

Pallor – change in color  due to the absence of capillary action

Decomp – a breakdown in tissue

Biological death is death at the molecular or cellular level. It means the death of cells and tissues individually. It usually takes place one to two hours after the stoppage of the vital functions of the body.

Doctors declare biological death as brought dead after a physical examination, such as no heartbeat, stop in breathing regulation, no movement of eyelids when focused light, and the body losing its natural warmness. Whereas, ‘clinical death' is due to the failure or death of vital organs.
