How heating of ice is different from heating of ammonium chloride

When we heat ice it gets converted to liquid state i.e. Water, but when we heat ammonium chloride it gets vapourised as ammonium chloride is a sublimating object. Which directly gets converted from solid to gas and vis-a-versa.
