Helen could speak some words like 'wa' for water even when she was jot affected by the disease.Then Miss Sullivan along with some experienced teacher taught her to speak with great efforts. They let her touch her mouth and feel her tongue as she spoke different words.
Gradually Helen was able to speak even though it was not as clear as normal human speech..

hellen keller can communicate by reading their lips and her teacher sign to spell into her hand to teach her
