Sunilkumar123: Because our ancester ket it.
Rozelle: can u send me how hello started
Sunilkumar123: The dictionary says it was Thomas Edison who put hello into common usage. He urged the people who used his phone to say "hello" when answering. His rival, Alexander Graham Bell, thought the better word was "ahoy." "Ahoy," it turns out, had been around longer — at least 100 years longer — than hello.

We all know that Thomas Elva Edison was a very busy man. when he picked up calls , he didn't have so much time to say "who is this?" and other statements. Thus , one day by mistake he said "Hello" when he picked up a call.Since then , "Hello" is being used by everyone.
