Hibernation is done by the animals which live in very cold regions . It is a very long period. It is done till the winter season ends in that region .ex:Polar bear. And aestivation is done by animals which live in desert areas and sleep for a very long period of time. It is done by the animals during summer season in that region.

Hope it helps you.
