Hey mate, Here is ur answer...
Mark it as brainliest if it works...
1. The ancient time, Gondwana land comprised India, Australia, South Africa, South America and Antarctica of present day.
2. According to the theory of Tectonic, The earth's crust was a single landmass called 'pangea'. Its northern part was known as the Angara land, whereas the southern part was known as Gondwana land.
3. The conventional current was split the crust into a number of pieces, resulting in the drifting of the Indo-Australian plates after being separated from the Gondwana land.
These plates drifted northward and collided with the much larger Eurasian plain.
4. Due to this collision sedimentary rocks of 'Tethys' sea folded to form the mountain chains of Himalayas.
